The 2018 New Plant Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Our New Plant Forum is an annual symposium highlight. This is an invaluable opportunity for breeders and plant dealers from around the world to present their best and brightest to the industry while in Raleigh. Attendees can’t wait to hear what you have to offer! Photos and descriptions of presented plants will appear in the PPA newsletter in the following months.

Put your best new selections out in front of the people that matter by following these simple instructions:

  • How many plants can I present?
    • Each presenter (or company) can present a maximum of three (3) plants.
  • How long do I have to sing the praises of said plant(s)?
    • Five (5) minutes, max, for up to three plants total. NOT five minutes per plant.
      This time limit is non-negotiable.
  • Sounds great. What do you need from me?
    1. New Plant Forum Entry Form filled out completely – plus one “All About Your Plant(s)” page for each plant.
    2. Up to three marvelous, high-resolution images per plant. Submit in JPG, TIFF, or PNG format. Can also send a company logo image (again, high-rez please). No PowerPoint or Keynote files accepted. We will compile all images into one spiffy presentation to reduce transition time.
    3. If a selection is patented, patent applied for, or trademarked, please provide payment of $100 per plant (proceeds go to the Perennial Plant Foundation). Otherwise, free of charge.  See Info Form for payment instructions.
  • Deadlines, I need deadlines…
    • Above items must be received by PPA office no later than July 19.
    • The number of presenters will be limited to 15, due to time constraints.
    • Registration and presentation will be in order of receipt of a complete application package, including entry form, images, and payment (if required). You are not considered registered until all these items are received.
